The smell off the bat is of dark, roasted coffee, and the taste does not disappoint. As you would expect, the beer tastes of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. The beer is actually brewed with Larry's Beans from Raleigh, and you can taste the freshness. The stout finishes with a bitter aftertaste, and is a complex and satisfying beer.
